How many microphones do we need for a production?
−It depends on the cast and the stage. Leads usually get radio or headset mics, while float and boundary mics across the front catch the wider cast. Tell us about the show and we'll recommend a sensible number — enough to be heard, without overcomplicating it.
Can you do sports day outdoors?
+Yes. We use portable, weather-aware systems that cover a whole field and can run without a mains socket, with an announcer's mic and music playback. Outdoor sound needs more power than indoors, and we spec for that.
Is it easy for staff to run?
+Yes — for assemblies and fairs we keep the controls simple and show staff how it works. For productions or larger events, an engineer on the day takes that off your hands entirely.
Do you set up around the school day?
+Always. We plan delivery and setup around lessons, breaks and access, and can work before or after school where that suits better.
Is the equipment PAT tested?
+Yes — equipment is regularly PAT tested for safe use on your premises, and risk assessments are available on request for your records.

Should we hire or install a permanent system?
+If you only run a few events a year, hire is usually the better value. If your hall is in constant use, a permanent install can pay for itself — we install school systems too and will give you an honest comparison.
